• Sleep was the biggest elimination weapon; MrBeast handed out sleeping bags at midnight specifically hoping people would move their hands while asleep, and many did.

Questions & Answers

Q: What are the rules of MrBeast's last to take hand off Lamborghini challenge?

MrBeast gathered 50 random people and had everyone place their right hand on a brand new Lamborghini. Whoever takes their hand off last wins the $300,000 car. Over 50 different cameras monitor every single hand on the Lamborghini so the crew can tell if anyone lifts their hand off, even briefly, which results in immediate elimination from the challenge.

Q: How do contestants use the bathroom during the hand on car challenge?

To solve the bathroom problem, MrBeast had Chris rip off the windshield wiper from the Lamborghini. Because the wiper is still part of the car, a contestant touching it with their right hand is considered technically still touching the vehicle. This lets them detach from the main body and step away to handle needs like using the bathroom without being eliminated.

Q: What prize do contestants get when they are eliminated?

Every single person on the Lamborghini walks away with a prize. The typical elimination reward is $1,000 in cash, which the first person out received after water hit his face and he reacted. Later eliminated players got larger prizes at various stages, including $10,000 payouts, and top-10 finishers grabbed items from a prize room including iPhones, iPads, and cash.

Q: How did the first contestant get eliminated in the challenge?

The first contestant was eliminated when water was sprayed and got all over his face, causing him to instinctively react and take his hand off the car. He said it was not on purpose and that he reacted because it was all in his face. MrBeast congratulated him on being first out and handed him $1,000, leaving 49 contestants remaining.

Q: Why did MrBeast give the contestants sleeping bags at night?

Around midnight MrBeast handed out sleeping bags with the specific strategy that he wanted contestants to fall asleep and accidentally take their hand off the Lamborghini. Sleep proved to be one of the biggest elimination tools. People who slept on the ground struggled to keep their hands in place, and one contestant who fell asleep was left a $1,000 sticky note rather than being woken.

Q: What other cars did MrBeast give away during the Lamborghini challenge?

Besides the grand-prize Lamborghini, MrBeast gave away extra cars as bait. One contestant who got out received a brand new Nissan. Later, MrBeast brought out a Camaro, which he mistakenly called a Mustang, and told contestants whoever touched the hidden car first could keep it. That race caused four contestants to take their hands off and get eliminated at once.

Q: What happened during the Armageddon elimination round?

When only 10 players remained, MrBeast let them duct-tape their hands to the car overnight so they could sleep. He left them alone for hours, and many failed to keep contact while asleep. He announced Armageddon with red lights, revealing that half of them got out. Using projector footage, he showed players like Danny, David, Neil, and others whose hands had clearly lost contact.

Q: What did MrBeast do with the Lamborghini as the challenge neared the end?

As the field narrowed to the final contestants, MrBeast raised the stakes literally. Once six then five people remained, he had the Lamborghini lifted two entire feet off the ground and said he could raise it all the way to the ceiling. He planned to raise the car higher every time someone else got out, adding difficulty and drama to the endurance finale.

Summary & Key Takeaways

• MrBeast gathered 50 random people to each keep their right hand on a brand new $300,000 Lamborghini, with the last person still touching it winning the car. Over 50 cameras watched every hand, and a ripped-off windshield wiper let people step away while staying technically in contact.

• Contestants were eliminated through distractions, exhaustion, and sleep. Water sprayed in a face, a stepped-on foot, loud engine revs, pizza, and dropped bottles caught many. At night, sleeping bags and duct-tape led to mass overnight eliminations, including one Armageddon round where half the remaining players got out asleep.

• Bait cars added drama: winners took home a Nissan and a Camaro, while four racers were eliminated chasing the hidden Camaro. Every participant left with a prize, top-10 finishers raided a prize room, and MrBeast raised the Lamborghini off the ground as the final contestants competed.
