According to a recent study by Goldman Sachs, generative AI technologies like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Bard have the potential to impact around 300 million jobs worldwide. Administrative assistant roles have the highest automation potential at 46%, followed by legal jobs at 44% and jobs in architecture and engineering at 37%. Business support, finance, and accounting fall within the top 5 with a 35% automation potential. Even fields like scientific research and programming can be replaced with automation at rates above 30%.

The rise of AI technology will render shortcuts and tips obsolete. Hacks like "three ways to quickly generate content" or "five ways to increase your scores" will no longer be effective. Rote learning and memorization techniques won't help in understanding problems thoroughly; they only provide shortcuts to completing tasks. What's needed is a genuine understanding of the subject matter, rather than seeking instant knowledge. Learners must also cultivate new skills, known as lifelong learning, to stay relevant in a changing job market. It is estimated that 85% of new jobs in 2030 will be in careers that don't currently exist.

Lastly, the skills that are universally valuable across professions and cannot be replicated by AI are communication skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected events.
