I finally figured out how to take notes! In my quest for a note-taking solution that met all my requirements, I stumbled upon Apple's Shortcuts app. This app, available on iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS, allows users to automate actions between apps. Using Shortcuts and Bear, I created a shortcut that generates meeting notes and another one for daily "scratch" notes. The meeting note shortcut looks into my work calendar and retrieves the most recent meeting that started within the last 30 minutes. This feature allows me to jump into a meeting fully prepared, with my notes ready to go. Moreover, Bear's ability to create TODOs within notes has significantly improved my workflow. I can add a checkbox list item as a TODO, similar to GitHub's TODOs, at any point in any of my notes. This has made me more organized and prevented me from dropping the ball on tasks assigned to me in meetings. Consequently, people don't have to chase me as often, which enhances overall productivity and satisfaction.

In a similar vein of innovative product development, the creators of Douyin/TikTok shared their journey in an article titled "How We Built a Product That 1 Billion People Watch Every Day in Just 18 Months." They developed two short video platforms simultaneously called Douyin and Huoshan. Interestingly, none of the existing video products left a lasting impression on them during their testing phase. However, they saw this as an opportunity rather than a setback.

Douyin, in particular, focused on four key elements. The first was the combination of "fullscreen" and "high-definition" features.
