What we talked about (brief notes)

  • Glasp will become a writing and publishing platform? • Carlos’s newsletter: https://carloscfranco.substack.com/ • Carlos uses iAwriter: https://ia.net/writer • Ron thinks that it’s fascinating if Glasp is going to be a publisher platform.

  • Ron uses Linkedin a lot. • It’s an ecosystem. • For both sales, business development, interaction, and discovery of content. • Glasp is an unique ecosystem that people are doing something without publishing.

  • Substack and Medium are competing each other in terms of # of followers, # of impressions, etc. • Glasp is a natural community. • People don’t need to compete each other. • Use Glasp as their workspace. Publish content on Glasp if they want. And go to Substack or Medium if they want.

  • Do you think you can see people’s characteristics, personality, and minds by looking at their Glasp profile? • Carlos thinks so. • If he goes to Heidi’s profile page, he can see what her next article.

  • Tagging • Ron wants to see who are the people highlighting contents based upon his interests. • Glasp can recommend people based on the tag on the Atomic Graph. • If he goes to the highlighted article, based on the most used tag, it recognizes the types of the article. And Glasp can recommend people using that tag a lot and frequently.

  • What’s the algorithm of the Home feed? • Popular? Time frame? • Robert Scoble • https://twitter.com/Scobleizer • https://scobleizer.blog/
