Eradicating poverty in all its forms remains one of the greatest challenges facing humanity. Despite significant progress in reducing extreme poverty, there are still 736 million people living on less than $1.90 a day. This article aims to explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and shed light on the recent repatriation operation conducted by the Brazilian government. The Brazilian Repatriation Operation:
In a recent repatriation operation conducted by the Brazilian government, the Brazilian presidential aircraft carried 32 passengers rescued from the West Bank. The passengers included 30 Brazilians, one Jordanian, and one Palestinian, all married to Brazilians. The operation involved three technical stops in Rome, Las Palmas, and Recife, before the families were repatriated to various cities in Brazil.

This complex operation required coordination between the Brazilian representation in Ramallah and authorities in the West Bank. Three vehicles, rented by the Brazilian representation, transported the passengers from 11 cities in the West Bank to Jericho, where they crossed the border into Jordan. The vehicles were identified with the Brazilian flag to ensure the safety of the passengers, and their routes and passenger lists were shared with Palestinian and Israeli authorities.
