About the Video
An imaging technique has allowed researchers to record detailed 3D video of small creatures, including ants, flies and zebrafish larvae. Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, have combined 54 cameras into a device that captures details of multiple individual animals simultaneously at a very fast rate.
Artificial intelligence then stitches the footage together, similar to how smartphones create panoramas from series of images, to produce the astonishing 3D imagery.
