According to scientists, Black Death originated in Central Asia. It was carried by fleas and the rats which traveled on the merchant ships and moved to the Europe.

From 1347 to 1351, within 4 years it killed 75 million people in Europe which was 30-60% of Europe population. In 14th century in Eurasia alone it killed 75-200 million people.
