About the Video
One day a Japanese fisherman Nishimoto found a penguin stuck in his net with an injured beak and wing. Nishimoto kept the penguin on his boat for a few months and both of them went on fishing expeditions. After 3 months, he brought the Penguin to his family and built him a refrigerated room under his house. The family decided to name the Penguin, LALA.
LALA accompanied Nishimoto to the fish market daily but after some time, LALA kept going back on its own. So the family taught LALA to buy fish from the market and also put a tiny backpack on him with money. LALA soon became a star in his village and worldwide he was 10 years old when this documentary was made. LALA lived with the Nishimoto family for 10 years and died in 1996 because of the old age.
