Many people chose to not pursue their dream because of them choosing to comply with other people's advice. However, that is not the case for Novi Basuki, he chose to trust himself more. He went to an Islamic boarding school where he learned Mandarin language for the first time with a teacher from mainland China. Ever since that moment, his mind has been opened and he has decided to continue his studies in China. Many questioned him when he wanted to study abroad in China. Fortunately, his parents supported his decision to seek as much knowledge as he can even if he has to go to China.
