IKEA has partnered with social entrepreneurs since 2012. Through the partnership over 20 000 jobs have been created for people who need it the most – vulnerable and marginalised groups who have difficulties getting into the labour market. It is done through business – co-creating products and services available at IKEA stores around the world. IKEA also does it through backing and boosting social entrepreneurs whose work is not related to producing IKEA products or services, by partnering up IKEA co-workers with social entrepreneurs, sharing our business knowledge and networks with them.
