About the Video

Eileen Myles presents excerpts from “About Boston,” a work-in-progress that she focused on during her month-long WPR Creative Fellowship at the Woodberry Poetry Room in April 2016. After the reading, she is joined by Harvard-based poet/performer and cultural theorist Jackie Wang in a dynamic conversation about Myles’ formative years in Boston, the many incarnations of her life in her adoptive city New York, and much more. Co-sponsored by the Harvard Art Museums and the WPR Creative Fellowships (established with funds provided in honor of Teresa and Dr. Michael Anagnostopoulos). Introduction by Christina Davis, curator of the Woodberry Poetry Room.
