About the Video

Moon is the Earth’s only natural satellite it is the 5th largest moon in solar system. With a diameter of roughly 3,474 km and it has a mass of 73 sextillion kg. Average distance of Moon from us is 384,400 km but Moon is slowly slipping away from us.

At the rate of roughly 3.78 cms per year the same rate at which our fingernails grow. Moon slipping away might have negative impact on life on Earth without the Moon, Earth could slow down and might even become unstable in orbit. But it will take billions of years to happen.
