How I use my reMarkable 2 with Notion | building a reMarkable 2 System #2 - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTcRFn35qlY Transcript: (00:05) hello and welcome to the next video of my ongoing remarkable 2 series my name is edward and i'm a chemistry student from germany and on this channel i share my insights from my journey on living a more intentional and productive life today we are talking about how i use my remarkable with notion today we are focusing on how i use it in general there will be more specific videos on for example my university workflow this is the second video of the series so if you haven't seen the first one maybe check that out first so you know what we (00:33) are talking about and i will put timestamps below so you can skip around as you want so first of all why i am using notion together with my remarkable my main objective was to create a clear organization system and to accomplish that i wanted a central place where i can go to to see where all of my information is located for me the central place where all information comes together is notion everything is centered around notion every information i work with or gather has a place there and i don't have to spend time (01:02) to go through the single folders in my system i can just go to notion and see okay this information is stored for example on the remarkable so let's talk about how i do it and this is simple i just have a notion page for every information i get so for example if i watched a video which i found valuable i will share this video to notion and will create a notion page for that video if i want to take notes about this video on the remarkable i will put an indication on the page that there is additional information on the (01:31) remarkable so how this looks on notion is pretty simple basically this is for example my books vault so my database about all the books i read as we can see there at the back there's a related column and let's open just this one book outbox which i'm currently reading then you can see i have a related page and the remarkable is indicated which basically means that i know when this is on that there's a page on the remarkable which corresponds to this book or this notion page better set so if remarkable is selected on this (02:02) multi-select i will leave the information on the remarkable itself this is the one way how i use the remarkable notion the second way is that i directly share the information from the remarkable for example smpdf to notion then i won't select the remarkable in the movie select because i will share for example the pdf directly to notion and delete a remarkable page for that and how i do it is pretty simple i just go to the remarkable mobile app create a pdf and directly share this pdf into notion and there's a (02:30) second way how i use the remarkable sometimes i turn on the live view of the remarkable so the desktop app will be synchronized with what i write on the remarkable and then i will make some drawings or some drafts and directly copy them and put them for example in notion or the file i'm working with so if you want to create something similar these are the action steps you can take to create your own system first you should create a central place where all information links to you can use notion but you can (02:56) also use for example a bullet journal or you can use the remarkable itself as the main point of information then you should create indications for all the pages the files you want to link to and as you saw i don't just have the remarkable on the multi-select you can also link information for example on google drive or onedrive or if you have something in paper form you can also link this in your central information place coming up next week i will show you how you could use your remarkable as a bullet journal (03:24) and i will talk about how i actually tried to use it as a bullet journal if you're interested or want to see more videos like this make sure to subscribe to the channel and if you found this valuable hit the like button and leave thoughts and comments below so thank you guys for watching and i see you guys next time
