The Indian government has launched several initiatives to double farmers' income, including a National Beekeeping and Honey Mission, a Central Sector Scheme for Formation & Promotion of new 10,000 FPOs, and various developmental programs and policies. These include income support through PM KISAN, institutional credit for the agriculture sector, fixing of Minimum Support Price, promotion of organic farming, and the Per Drop More Crop scheme. The government has also allocated funds for agricultural mechanization, providing Soil Health Cards to farmers, setting up the National Agriculture Market, launching the National Mission for Edible Oils, and improving farm produce logistics through the Kisan Rail. Agri and allied export has increased by 19.99%.
