These include setting up nurseries and tissue culture units, expanding areas, rejuvenating old orchards, promoting organic farming and certification, creating water resources structures, promoting bee-keeping, and providing training to farmers. The scheme is implemented through state governments, with a funding ratio of 60:40. In North Eastern and Himalayan states, the ratio is 90:10.
