A Surrey mom is appealing for witnesses after her teenage son and his girlfriend were randomly bear sprayed by two strangers at the Newton Bus Loop. The couple was on their way to the gym when they were attacked. The pair managed to seek help from a nearby youth clinic, where the son called his mother. The Surrey RCMP says this type of random attack is quite rare and is asking parents to keep an eye out for things they didn't purchase themselves. The incident has caused extra stress for the mom, who is now worried about letting her children out.
