Gary James Harmon, an Ohio man, has been sentenced to four years in prison for stealing $21 million worth of Bitcoin from his brother. The crypto assets were seized by law enforcement from his brother, who was involved in a separate criminal case. Harmon stole the private keys to the Bitcoin and transferred them to his own wallet. He then sold some of the Bitcoin and used the proceeds to buy luxury cars and a house. Harmon pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering and wire fraud.
