You are an individual with value. Don’t let anyone talk down on you. When you know that you are not in the wrong, firmly, but calmly, reject the offense thrown at you. Show strength in your communication through confidence. Speaking of confidence; practice it. It is easier said than done. But most people confuse confidence with bravado.
When you have a message to communicate, use the simplest language to get your point across. The more you try to add explanations, the more unsure you will sound. Get to the point.
You cannot be vague or unintelligible. There cannot be room for ambiguity. Your messaging and instructions should be concrete.

When I was younger, I loved talking about movies. Every time I used to talk about a good movie, I would say, “Guys, this movie is pretty good.” There was a rise in pitch on one word while another barely sounded audible. Pretty soon, I learnt to make a statement, and I would confidently say, “Guys, this movie is good. I recommend it.”
