“Doesn’t God act through others when he exercises his power?” He does. But he doesn’t
If simplicity means God’s power and knowledge are inseparable, then so too does it mean that God’s power is inseparable from his timeless eternity and omnipresence.
If God’s power is infinite, everywhere, and always, then there is no event in the history of humankind that escapes his say-so.
In every single aspect of your life God is at work to accomplish his eternal, unchanging, omnipotent, and gracious will. As Paul says elsewhere, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Rom. 8:28).24
Meeting the God you thought you knew, and being shocked by his sheer godness. God is greater than he thought God was!
