Work smarter, not harder. Be productive, not busy.
Take the hacks you want, leave the ones you don’t. But above all, run it all through your internal sense check and make sure it sounds SOUND to you before taking on board.
Bottom line – to be effective, you have to sleep well and deep. Set aside time for this every night. Stop fiddling with your phone at least an hour before you start the bedtime routine. Bedtime is your rest time – switch off, relax and reboot.
Leave your desk in the evening, afternoon or whenever you leave it with enough vim, vigor and MOMENTUM to go back the next day. If you use up all your energy and ideas in the one sitting it will take so much willpower to go back to the desk tomorrow that it will become harder and harder each day.
