People are independent agents in the system; they desire co-evolution where they feel like the goals of the organization and their own individual goals are in alignment;
As complex adaptive systems, all organizations are learning organizations: They test mental models (or schema) of how things work against feedback from the real world.
the whole purpose of any organization is to achieve collective action.
Planning, as it is currently practiced, looks a lot like hubris. Hubris that you can predict the future and account for all the variables and all the actors in the complex system that makes up your business, your market, your industry, or the global economy.
