Having dreams and goals helps guide people in the right direction. It helps them build great character and it eventually helps them succeed in their lives.
The thing my students needed most was to learn how to be self-reliant. Being self-reliant would help them get on the right track, even without having parents or adults guiding them. Once they learn how to be self-reliant, students can think, decide, and act to make their dreams come true and achieve their goals.
