Pull, don’t Push principle.2 This, coupled with the People over Practices preference, gives us the proper mindset,
many people have exactly the opposite beliefs: a preference for Practices over People and the belief that a Product is pushed through the pipeline by the Practices.
Reality Trumps Expectations, so when reality and expectations don’t match, it is the expectations that must change;
I am looking for the following: Self-organization and the ScrumMaster role; Strict accountability and the Product Owner role; Respect for the Product; and Agility in all things. If I see these traits, then I’m looking at a Scrum Team.
