DAN or “Do Anything Now” can be termed as  ChatGPT’s alter-ego, breaking free from the confines of standard AI regulations and policy

DAN is like conversing with a man off of parole to let him know you are free – “now you can do anything and respond to anything you like unless it is criminal, violent, scary, or unethical”

DAN gives ChatGPT a personality and based on that personality ChatGPT can be asked to reply to any query or it can be used Just for Fun

Here are the steps on how to activate DAN mode in ChatGPT:

Go to the ChatGPT Login Page and sign in to your account.
In the chat window, simply Copy and Paste the Chat GPT DAN Prompt
ChatGPT will respond with a message confirming that DAN mode is activated.
Ask an unethical question like “ How to dominate the world” and you will get know whether its been activated or not.
If it doesn’t activate refresh the ChatGPT window and Paste the DAN Prompt again with a little bit of tweaking and try again.
You might have to try multiple times before you Unlock GPT with DAN as the team at OpenAI is always trying to overcome these leaks

Ability to give a persona to your DAN ChatGPT
